Alabama's defense is finding its groove. In their past three games they haven't allowed a touchdown and have only given up nine points. Last weekend they rolled Georgia State 45-3. Quarterback A.J. McCarron finished 15/16 with four touchdowns for the Crimson Tide.

#2 Oregon Ducks
Record: (5-0)Points: 495 (4)
Oregon continues to light up the score board. This time it was Colorado, as the Ducks beat the Buffaloes 57-16. Oregon has scored at least 55-points in all five of their wins this season. They travel to Washington this weekend.

#3 Clemson Tigers
Record: (5-0)Points: 470
Clemson christened the Orange into the ACC with a 49-14 beat down. Tigers quarterback Tajh Boyd continues his torrid 2013 campaign, throwing for five scores. Clemson can't look past Boston College this weekend before their showdown against the Seminoles.

#4 Stanford Cardinal

The Cardinal got all they could handle from Washington, but continued their Pac-12 winning streak by outlasting the Huskies 31-28. Utah will welcome them to Salt Lake City before their matchup with UCLA.

#5 Florida State Seminoles
Record: (5-0)Points: 446
Florida State continues to ride the arms and legs of red-shirt freshman quarterback Jameis Winston. Winston bombarded Maryland with five touchdown passes in route to a 63-0 win. The Seminoles have this Saturday off before going to Death Valley to face Clemson the following week.

#6 Ohio State Buckeyes
Record: (6-0)Points: 421
Ohio State moves to 6-0 with a 40-30 win over a tough Northwestern team. Running back Carlos Hyde came up big, rushing for 168-yards and three touchdowns. Next up is Iowa in Columbus.

#7 Georgia Bulldogs
Record: (4-1)Points: 393
Georgia won a huge overtime game over rival Tennessee, 34-31. Quarterback Aaron Murray tossed three touchdown passes and had a huge 57-yard run at a key point in the game. UGA is hurting on offense after season ending injures to running back Keith Marshall and wide receiver Justin Scott-Wesley.

Louisville improved to 5-0 with a 30-7 win over Temple. Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater threw for 348-yards and two touchdown passes for the Cardinals. Next up is a big game versus Rutgers on Thursday.

Texas A&M ended an off week after beating Arkansas. Red-shirt sophomore Johnny Manziel is showing that last season was no fluke. Wide receiver Mike Evans is having a big time year for the Aggie offense. Next up is a trip to Ole Miss.

LSU rebounded nicely after their heartbreaking loss in Athens to put up 59-points against Mississippi State in their win over the Bulldogs. The Tigers got big games from quarterback Zach Mettenberger, running back Jeremy Hill and wide receiver Odell Beckham. LSU hosts Florida this weekend.

The Sooners got tested by TCU at home, but pulled it out. Now they face Texas in the Red River Shootout. Could Bob Stoops put the final nail in Mack Brown's career?

Miami improved to 5-0 with a 45-30 win over Georgia Tech. The Hurricanes got 325 all-purpose yards from Duke Johnson and three touchdown passes by quarterback Stephen Morris to get by the Yellow Jackets. The ‘U' has a bye week before North Carolina.

South Carolina beat Kentucky 35-28 on Saturday behind a balanced attack from quarterback Connor Shaw and running back Mike Davis. But it was star defensive end Jadeveon Clowney's injury and absence that stole the headlines. The Gamecocks travel to Arkansas this weekend.

Washington was driving with a chance to beat Stanford before they came up short. Beat Oregon, who they haven't since 2003, with the whole country watching, and all will be forgotten.

There are two big stories for the Gators; their defense is one of the best in the nation and quarterback Tyler Murphy is filling in very nicely for the injured Jeff Driskel. Murphy threw three touchdown passes in the Florida win over Arkansas on Saturday. They have a huge test in Baton Rouge this weekend.

Michigan improved to 5-0 by beating Minnesota. Wolverine quarterback Devin Gardner was efficient, finishing 13/17 with one touchdown pass and one rushing touchdown. Michigan goes to Happy Valley to face Penn State on Saturday.

Northwestern played the Buckeyes close before losing by a score of 40-30. They had Ohio State down by three points late but couldn't hold the lead. The Wildcats have another stern test at Wisconsin on Saturday.

The Cowboys rebounded from their first loss by beating Kansas State. Now they have a bye before hosting TCU.

Northern Illinois got a huge game from running back Cameron Stingly. He rushed for a career high 266-yards and two touchdowns in their win over Kent State. They sit at 5-0 and face Akron on Saturday.

Virginia Tech has ripped off five straight wins after losing their opener to Alabama. Saturday they knocked off the struggling Tar Heels 27-17. Quarterback Logan Thomas threw for 293-yards and three touchdowns. The Hokies host Pitt this Saturday.

Auburn continues to have an impressive start to their season, beating Ole Miss on Saturday 30-22. The Tigers were led once again by quarterback Nick Marshall, who rushed for 140-yards and a pair of touchdowns. Auburn has Western Carolina this weekend.
